Gossip Girl’: Will We See Blair Married By The End Of The Season?

The latest Gossip Girl promo reveals Blair is getting engaged; we chatted with the show’s executive producers about how soon there will be a ring on her finger! Is it Chuck, Dan or the Prince?
240Share

Gossip Girl returns in one week and from the looks of the brand new promo we are in for some very exciting episodes featuring a soon-to-be-affianced Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester). We spoke to executive producer’s Stephanie Savage and Josh Safran about her upcoming engagement and whether Chuck and Blair fans will be happy or crying at the end of the season finale.

Will the show lead up to Blair’s engagement or are we hit with it as soon as you return on April 18? “You are not hit with it as soon as we get back. It’s not the first thing that happens,” explains Stephanie. “The promo features scenes from the next five episodes, so we don’t necessarily want to harp on something that happens in the fifth episode when we are still one week away from the first [of the remaining episodes].” Josh interrupted quickly, “That is not to say Blair is getting engaged in the fifth episode.”

So let’s backtrack. Prince Louis Grimaldi is back. Are we going to learn more about him? Does he have any skeletons in his closet we will discover? “He is back, which I think is very exciting. But the relationships in the next four episodes will really focus on our core characters. So you’ll have to wait and see if there’s more from the Prince but really we are focusing a lot on the core,” reveals Josh.

Okay, back to the engagement. Blair loves Harry Winston. Would she even accept an engagement ring that wasn’t Harry Winston? “That’s a very funny specific question that is actually answered in the episodes,” laughs Stephanie. As most devout Gossip Girl fans know, Chuck bought Blair a very special Harry Winston, which we see him take out of his safe in the previews. But we also see the Prince go down on his knee! So what gives? And will we find out who she is engaged to by the end of the season?

“There are multiple, huge cliffhangers at this season finale. The stories we tell at the beginning of the season go all the way through to the end,” confesses Stephanie. “Last year was a dark finale. This finale is much more juicy and fun and not dark like last year,” adds Josh. So will Blair and Chuck fans NOT be crying at the end of the finale? “Nobody dies,” Josh responds dryly, remaining understandably tight-lipped on the Chuck/Blair storyline that everybody’s asking about.

We were also told that Cyrus, Blair’s step-father, is returning for the two-part finale, as are multiple other guests including Georgina. So does Cyrus’ return mean a wedding is happening? “No comment,” say the producers.

Although they aren’t giving us much to go on (and who can blame them, the promo already speaks volumes), it sounds like Chuck and Blair fans will be satisfied with the amount of screen time their favorite characters will be getting as we follow the “core” in the next few weeks. It seems like a rational deduction that Cyrus is coming back for the consulate bash rather than a wedding — plus you’d think a wedding dress would make its way into the previews — but it’s still interesting to guess who Blair’s fiance is! Dan and Blair’s romance looks like it’s fizzling judging from the scenes, and we aren’t loving the title “Shattered Bass” for the episode leading up to the finale, but “Wrong Kiss Goodnight” (the finale’s title) keeps us guessing! It seems like all signs could point to the Prince but watch the video and vote on who you think she’ll be getting engaged to by the end of the season! And stay tuned for more scoop about the next few episodes, especially the future of Serena and Blair’s friendship.

Gossip Girl Spoiler Alert: Showrunners Reveal Plan for a 'Juicy and Fun' Two-Part Finale

The CW’s Gossip Girl resumes its fourth season on Monday, April 18, with the first of five all-new episodes, and whether you’re Team Chair, Dair, or Who Cares?!, showrunners Stephanie Savage and Josh Safran tell TVLine that fans will not want to miss how the cycle ends.

The CW Announces May Finale Dates

“Last year’s finale was a little bit darker,” admits Savage, “and this one is more juicy and fun.” Adds Safran, “Every finale is a game-changer, but this one really is spinning everyone off in new ways that will be apparent as you watch it.”

Yet while Safran promises, “The road map for all of the characters will be very clear” as the yet-to-be-renewed drama wraps Season 4, “That’s not to say there won’t multiple cliffhangers.”

Throughout the first two of this season’s final five episodes, the journey for Blair Waldorf (played by Leighton Meester) is among those that gets crystalized. The Upper East Side princess will find herself in the predicament of a lifetime, torn between her “friendship” with Dan (Penn Badgley), her undying love for Chuck (Ed Westwick), and her prospective fairy tale ending with Prince Louis (Hugo Becker).

“That story keeps building right up until the finale episode,” says Savage, revealing that “the last two episodes [of the season] are actually a two-parter that all takes place during the course of one night.”

While Blair is juggling men (and perhaps multiple proposals!) in New York, Serena (Blake Lively) finds herself on the West Coast with the handsome Ethan Peck (10 Things I Hate About You). “Every year we try to do something big, like last year when we sent the girls to Paris,” explains Safran. “So, this is just a fun change in location for Serena.”

The Gossip EP is tight-lipped when it comes to details on Peck’s role, but does say that contrary to rumors, “I wouldn’t call [his appearance] an arc. He’s in the season finale, and he’s great.”

Chuck Bass, on the other hand, is not so great, especially after launching an investigation into his late father’s role in the alleged death of Raina’s (Tika Sumpter) mother. “It is always darkest before the dawn,” Safran teases. “And Chuck, he gets very, very dark.”

Are you eager to see which guy Blair chooses? Hopeful Chuck will find some happiness? Sound off below, and don’t miss Gossip Girl‘s return on Monday, April 18 at 8/7c.

"Gossip Girl": Find out what's next in the Spoiler Room.

"GOSSIP GIRL": CHAIR, DAIR, AND PRINCE O’ PARIS

So, some of you are Dairing and other of you are Chairing, but where’s Team Royal Wedding? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Hmm … that’s what I thought.

But let’s be realistic. A man shows up at your doorstep with a shoe you lost months ago in Paris? You’re not gonna take the shoe, say thanks, and close the door in his handsome face. So we wouldn’t expect Blair, ever the royal in waiting, to do that either. The problem? SO MANY OTHER MEN! Also, not everyone will be thrilled to see civilian Blair on the arm of a prince — namely the Royal brood. Winning them over could turn out to be Blair’s biggest challenge yet, if she chooses to stick by him. Note that I said if. You will know her answer by the end of the April 25 episode.

Also in that ep, Chuck is off attending to Bass matters, and while it seems he might have checked out of the fight for Blair, something tells me his discoveries could lead him to a dark place. You know, the kind of dark place he and Blair always seem to meet. And in the case of Dair, it will be a big episode for the pair because it sheds light on their true feelings.

Conclusion: In the coming episodes, deciding your allegiances might be as confusing as the most convoluted of Gossip Girl schemes. Enjoy.

Princess Power: Could There Be a Royal Wedding in Blair's Future on Gossip Girl?

Gossip Girl finally returns next Monday and the final five episodes of this season are Blair-tastic! Our favorite Queen B (Leighton Meester) might actually be getting royal (her European prince is back in town), her days macking on Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) and duelling to the death with soulmate Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick).

We just talked to Gossip bosses Stephanie Savage and Josh Safran, and they revealed what's driving Blair's decisions, how family secrets are going to change celebutante blond Serena (Blake Lively) and which original character is getting a shocking reveal four seasons in the making:

Are Dan and Blair still a going concern or are they totally done? Will they ever have stories together again?
JS: There will absolutely continue to be stories of the two of them together, definitely. All the way up through the finale. And beyond.
SS: And beyond.

What can you tell us about a possible Chuck and Blair reunion?
JS: Chuck and Blair are very much connected in this pod. How that connection bears itself out, I just think we've got to wait and see. But the dynamics that have been brewing all season with them—Blair wanting to be powerful, Chuck waiting for her. All of that stuff is definitely very much prevalent in these last five.

Speaking of Blair's desire to be powerful, has Blair settled on a specific ambition and goal at this point? For example, does she still want to be a fashion editor?
Something presents itself very soon that answers that question.

Are we on our way to seeing Princess Blair?
Just wait.

Do you think Dan really fell for Blair?
Dan will continue to be involved with Blair and in Blair's story. And then he also gets a bit of a new relationship.

Is Dan's new relationship with Serena's cousin Charlie (Kaylee DeFer)?
JS: Wait and see, but I also think something happens regarding Dan's character that has actually been secretly brewing for a long time. It's something that I think will reshape his character.

What can we expect for Nate (Chace Crawford) and Vanessa's (Jessica Szohr) characters in this last batch of episodes?
JS: Nate continues his relationship with Raina (Tika Sumpter), and he's very much folded into that story. And Vanessa tries to get back in the good graces of everybody, and we'll see she'll end of trying larger and larger things until there is one very very big thing that will happen that changes things.

With the arrest and the return of William van der Woodsen, there has to be a lot going on with Rufus and Lily's clan, right?
JS: Oh tons. [Laughs.] It's always fun when you get all of them together, even when you get any three of those characters together it's fun. We're starting this—episode 18 starts the last five, but it also introduces Charlie, introduces a lot of stuff about the Rhodes family and van der Woodsens that we have never seen or known about before. That's seen through every episode until the end. You constantly learn more and more about Carol (Sheila Kelly), about Charlie, about Lily and Carol's relationship and about CeCe (Caroline Lagerfelt), their mother. It just keeps growing.
SS: Aunt Carol in Miami is a character who's mentioned in passing in the pilot. So it was great to meet past aunt Carol two seasons ago and grownup Carol in this episode and to meet her daughter, who is Serena and Eric's cousin.

And I assume this all comes back to Serena in the end?
JS: Definitely.
SS: Yeah.

Can you expand on how it effects her?
JS: The first half of the season was about Serena sort of being gaslit and wondering what it is that she could have done and then discovering that it wasn't her, it was her mother and that fractured them. So we proceeded along looking back at the past at what happened and not, and now this last five are sort of showing how the family comes back together and what this new family dynamic is going to be. That will definitely spin Serena off into a new direction. I think it would be honestly too delicious to spoil.

One or another of the actors occasionally says they might be done with the show soon, is there any plan in place to end the show? Do you have an end date in mind?
SS: The reality of television life is that the actors have six-year contracts. So any things that the actors have said have been in the context of that lifespan. Which isn't to say that there isn't life of the show beyond that but we're just excited about finishing up season four and hopefully getting a season five, and generally making that the best season of the show that we've ever done.

I'm impressed with all that you've done and your stamina in keeping the show so vibrant this far in.
SS: Honestly I think I can speak for all the writers, the show is an incredible passion for us and that writing it is a pleasure and we love the characters and the world so much that its really hard to imagine a life without them. And that is pretty sustaining on a daily basis.

Ask the Addict: Spoilers for GOSSIP GIRL, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, 90210, THE KILLING & More!

Do you have any spoilers for us GOSSIP GIRL addicts, specifically of the Chuck and Blair variety? — Leesa
The TV Addict: Having seen the next two episodes of the season we do, but since we were kindly asked by our friends at the CW not to specifically spoil any of the craziness that goes down when GOSSIP GIRL returns next week after far too long a hiatus, we hope you’ll accept a little piece of advice instead: Those of you who take Chuck and Blair’s “will-they-or-won’t-they” seriously should most definitely not watch Monday’s episode within reach of any throwable objects that have the potential to inflict pain on friends, family members — or dare we say that it — that very-pricey-just-purchased flat screen TV when thrown in frustration. You’ve been warned.

"GOSSIP GIRL" BOSSES ON FINALE

If you haven’t picked up this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly, may I suggest you do it post-haste, Gossip fans? Seriously. EW has an exclusive First Look at the Gossip Girl finale, and once you see this photo, you’ll want the full story, which is…

We knew the final episode of this insane season would be momentous, but this two-parter (airing May 9 and 16) promises not only multiple cliffhangers, multiple parties, and a love square that has more than stirred up Gossip land in recent weeks, but there’s also a sweet moment, seemingly crafted especially for the Chair fan in my heart. Executive producer Stephanie Savage explains:

“We want to be a little mysterious. We love the idea, first and foremost, that it’s Chair, in chairs,” she says of the sneak peek.

Fellow exec producer Josh Safran adds: “It could be a wedding. It could be a bris, if you see yarmulkes in the photo. It could be someone’s bat mitzvah, maybe Eleanor’s, because she’s converting to Judaism.” Joking aside, “It’s on the Internet already that Blair is going to get engaged in the last several episodes. So this may or may not have something to do with that.”

But what about the seemingly happy place Blair and Chuck seem to be in? It’s been a long time coming, they say. “We’re setting up this story where Blair has always been in search of her fairy tale,” Savage says. “So the end of this season, Blair’s story is very much about, What is that fairy tale? Is that fairy tale being with her first great love, Chuck Bass? Is that fairy tale being with Prince Louis, who people know is coming back to the show? Or is that fairy tale being with the dark horse in the race, Brooklynite Dan Humphrey, who we’ve seen recently she has so much in common with?”

“We try to build everyone’s story so they can all collide into each other, and I just feel like what you can expect is the fun of watching how the stories intersect, and what happens when you do,” Safran adds.

I don’t know how much more of all this drama I can take. Wait, yes I do. A LOT MORE.

'Gossip Girl' Newbie Exposed! KayLee DeFer Reveals Character Name And Other Gossipy Goodness

As most of you die-hard "Gossip Girl" fans well know, there is a new girl headed to the Upper East Side very soon. With the long wait for new episodes finally almost over (the show comes out of repeats next Monday, April 18), MTV News was lucky enough to snag a sit-down with actress Kaylee DeFer recently to get the scoop on her character. Naturally, she couldn't reveal everything, but we did get the goods on a few things, like plenty of Van der Woodsen drama and a season finale tease. First, thing's first, however. Who the heck is Kaylee playing?

"What I can reveal about my character, my little stint on 'Gossip Girl'... well, my name is Charlie Rhodes, and I am a Van der Woodsen," Kaylee revealed. "My mother hates that family and has basically told me my whole life that they are the worst human beings on the face of the earth," she explained, adding that naturally her mother's unadulterated hatred sparks Charlie's curiosity that much more.

"So I want to meet them of course," she said. "And Serena kind of takes me under her wing."

Kaylee went on to tease that Charlie will definitely be stirring things up on the show, and that "all the ladies on the Upper East Side need to watch out."

When asked if that might mean that Charlie will be doing her fair share of smooching all of the show's eligible and ineligible men (as is expected of all new cast members), she was cagey with her response, and hinted that her character takes a special interest in Serena, above everyone else.

‘Gossip Girl’ Scoop: Will Lily & Dr. Van Der Woodsen Get Back Together?

Gossip Girl is FINALLY back April 18, and viewers will get to see what is going to happen with Lily (Kelly Rutherford) now that she has been charged with forging Serena’s (Blake Lively) name on a false affidavit — and what role her ex husband (Billy Baldwin) will play in it all! According to Billy, while Dr. van der Woodsen has been called on to help Lily and the family, there are “definitely” still feelings between him and his ex-wife!

Dr. van der Woodsen is obviously bothering Rufus (Matthew Settle) with his presence, and it seems like he could be causing quite a bit of trouble between Rufus and Lily. On the subject of whether or not there is still a spark between the Dr. and Lily, Billy told HollywoodLife: “Most definitely. I don’t think that, I know that.” Drama!

Sadly, while Lily’s drama will be in full swing as she sits through house arrest before her trial, don’t expect any major drama from Dr. van der Woodsen. “I don’t really go out with any fireworks that are specifically tied to my character. I’ve come in, you know, to sort of help put out the fire of this impending incarceration for Lilly,” Billy says. Sounds like Lily may really be heading to prison!

That is not to say he will not be back next season to stir up trouble, something he has already discussed with the producers. “Even Rufus should understand that the resident expert on van der Woodsen dysfunction is William. He’s created half of it himself. He knows where the bodies are buried.”

Sadly, Billy will not be in the finale episode and could not offer any insight to how the show might leave off — but we all know Blair’s (Leighton Meester) engagement is imminent!

Anything on Gossip Girl that DOESN’T involve Blair. I know you have a girl crush on her, but let’s get some other scoop. — Tori
First, I wouldn’t call it a girl crush — it’s more like a quiet admiration for a … whatever. So it’s a girl crush. Can ya blame me? Anyway, here’s something about the smartest van der Woodsen. [Cricket, cricket] I mean Eric (Connor Paolo). Ah ha! You forgot about Eric. Well, I assure you Stephanie Savage and Josh Safran haven’t forgotten him. In fact, they have big plans: college. “Eric was always going to go to college. And when you find out where Eric will be going to college, you will see how that’ll shape up in season 5,” Savage says. Considering Paolo has booked a pilot (Revenge, ABC), we’ll just have to see how far away Eric tries to get from the madness. And judging from what I know about the finale, he should probably aim for at least Dubai.

And is Nate going to get an actual storyline at some point, or is he knee-deep in guest stars for the rest of the season? — @maribells01 via Twitter
Well, in the next episode, airing April 25, Nate definitely plays second fiddle to the Raina-Chuck parent drama plot, but it is rather sweet to see him doing the supportive boyfriend thing. But I’m with you, let’s get him something juicy to do — or someone.

Some Gossip Girl, please! It doesn’t even have to be about Chair! (But better if it was. Hint Hint.) — Tara
Lily is going to jail! Well, if Billy Baldwin, who reprized his role as Serena and Eric’s dad last night has any say. “In the real world, I feel almost like she should suffer the consequences. She got caught. Let her be punished,” he said. “Let’s not punish her disproportionately — let’s not punish her because she’s a rich woman — but if you tarnished or destroyed a reputation of an innocent man like that, and a judge threw you in the slammer a few months, serves you right.” Brutal! Yet, I kind of love him more for it.

Latest from Ausiello

Please tell me the Gossip Girl producers are going to give Jessica Szohr something to do in these final five episodes. The girl has been a glorified extra all season. —Deb
Ausiello: Glorified extra is a bit of an exaggeration. Can we compromise and call her an Under-Fiver With Benefits? But per exec producer Stephanie Savage, Szohr’s increasingly isolated alter ego is about to get sprung from the backburner. “Vanessa’s very much a part of the rest of the season,” says the boss. “She will make a bold move by the end of the season [that] could put her back in their good graces… or it could put her out of their good graces forever.”

Every other spoiler site has given us Gossip Girl scoop on Chuck and Blair. It’s now your turn. —Melissa
Ausiello: Before you dive into these final five episodes, repeat after me: Chuck would never intentionally cause Blair physical harm. Chuck would never intentionally cause Blair physical harm. Chuck would never intentionally cause Blair physical harm.

Gossip Girl Exclusive: Meet Blair's New Nemesis

A new pot-stirrer is headed to the Upper East Side, and she’s threatening to derail Blair Waldorf’s big fat royal wedding.

Sources confirm to TVLine exclusively that French actress/model Roxane Mesquida (Kaboom) is joining the cast of Gossip Girl as the meddling sister of Blair’s fiancée, Prince Louis.

Little else is known about Mesquida’s princess character, save for that fact that she is not happy about her brother’s impending union and is hell-bent on sabotaging it. Oh, and the role is recurring, so she’ll be around long enough to do some damage.

Cheryl, any ethnicity, 18 – Late 20s. Cheryl is an attractive, sensual, and fun-loving woman who lives in a hip neighborhood of the city. She loves going to parties almost every night and getting drunk. Cheryl is quite superficial in many ways—-she is very focused on her appearance, and she seems to be dating her boyfriend only for his money. She loves to be the center of attention at any social gathering, and often wears provocative clothing. But under the surface is a troubled woman who has been hurt in her past relationships.

Wanda Burdette, any ethnicity, 30s – 40s. Wanda is a hard-working, driven, and focused woman who works as a real estate agent for a high-powered New York real estate company. Wanda is very good at her job and always manages to sell even the most overpriced properties. While she is congenial and friendly around her clients, she can also be a bit domineering at times when she’s not at work. She is fast-talking and has a high level of energy.

Marcus, any ethnicity, 20s. Marcus is a clean-cut, intelligent, and earnest young Catholic priest who has a natural rapport with the people who worship at his church. He has a charming side to his personality and loves to chat informally with people. Though he is a priest, Marcus nonetheless exudes a natural comfort in social situations and has many friends. He often finds himself in awkward situations in which young women seem to be romantically drawn to him.

Curtis, any ethnicity, 20s – 30s. Curtis is an intimidating, sinister-looking, and physically-imposing guy who grew up on the streets. People get scared when they seem him. He seems like the kind of guy who picks fights for fun. But though he may seem frightening at first glance, he is nonetheless a morally-principled man who happens to come from a rough neighborhood.

Gossip Girl Targets Elizabeth Hurley

With her much-hyped showdown with Diana Prince scrapped, Elizabeth Hurley is setting her sights on another formidable female: Gossip Girl!

The actress — who co-starred in NBC’s ill-fated Wonder Woman pilot as a nemesis to Adrianne Palicki’s title heroine — is joining the upcoming fifth season of Gossip Girl for a multi-episode arc, TVLine has learned exclusively.

According to exec producers Stephanie Savage and Joshua Safran, Hurley will play a character named, ironically enough, Diana Payne, “a sexy, smart, self-made media mogul and all-around force to be reckoned with. Diana’s entrance on the Upper East Side will change the lives of all our characters — including, and especially, Gossip Girl herself.

“Elizabeth’s sense of humor, intelligence and beauty fit the GG world perfectly,” the duo added. “We feel very fortunate to have her.”

Lost Hunk Joins Gossip Girl as…

Gossip Girl is getting a little, ahem, hot under the collar in Season 5.

Marc Menard — whose stint on Lost as Rousseau’s fellow French scientist Montand ended with him losing a limb to El Monster de Smoke — is joining the CW soap in the potentially recurring role of Father Cavalia, a priest from Monaco with ties to Blair’s fiancé, Prince Louis.

There’s been speculation that the comely pontiff heads to the Upper East Side to preside over the couple’s wedding ceremony. If true, he may encounter some resistance from Louis’ meddling sister, played by French actress Roxane Mesquida.

Natie, Just Say Yes

http://chaceconline.com/2011....nice-ca

Yes…SAY YES. Two words. Six letters. Say it, and I’m…wait…could it be? Could these be the two words hinted at by Gossip Girl‘s writers as the theme of the newest season? If so, we’re pretty sure we’re in for a wild ride. There are many things one can “say yes” to and, while some CHAIR fans may hope it’s a marriage proposal from Chuck to Blair, it could also turn out to be a request from Lonely Boy to our Queen Bee to “say yes” to his call for love. We may not know much about the upcoming season, but we can guarantee that whatever our favorite characters “say yes” to will surely change the lives of the Upper East Side forever.

Spoiler Chat: Chuck Bass Attacked by a Werewolf?!

@jazy736 Scoop on Chuck/Blair pls! If this is not possible, anything on Chuck & why he's all bruised up would do. Thanks!
You'll be happy to know I'm told that the photo above is nothing of the supernatural nature, thank you very much. Chuck is in "big trouble," but something positive does come out of Chuck's brawl. As for Chuck and Blair, gee, I don't know, does anyone really want to know about those two anymore? Oh, right. Given that there are a gazillion @replies on my Twitter asking for Chuck and Blair (Leighton Meester) info, I'm gonna go with a Yes, you guys tooootally do care! I can tell you that Louis (Hugo Becker) is still very concerned about how Blair feels about Chuck—he will always worry, and that will be a problem—but they are definitely still planning their wedding at the beginning of the new season. Maybe she'll pull a "Rachel" at the altar? Friends fans, please explain to the younger set what pulling a "Rachel" means.

@awkwardhobos: Do you have any spoilers on the pregnancy test that was seen at the end of Gossip Girl?
Someone is definitely pregnant. And it is too juicy to spill. (Sorry! But I personally like my noggin' attached to my neck because I'm all fancy and high-maintenance like that.)

Spoiler Chat: Exclusive Scoop on Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries, Glee and More!

Rebecca: What can you tell us about Dan and Blair? Or Chuck and Blair? Is there any hope for either?

Not hearing of anything the works for Dan and Blair, and it quite honestly pains me to tell you that! But Chuck and Blair fans, there is some good news for you. Aside from what I've mentioned about Blair's feelings for Chuck being quite the issue with her fiance prince, I can also tell you that despite the photo above, which looks like a meet cute between the Chuckster and a new love interest, a source tells me this little gem of good news: Chuck does not have any sort of new love interest in the works. At least not early on in the season. Cause to celebrate, mayhaps?

Question: Do you have any scoop on what Dan and Blair’s relationship will be like in Season 5 of Gossip Girl? –Steph

A Royal Wedding: When’s the Big Day?

First things first: Roxane Mesquida sounds like the sweetest lady ever and we can’t wait to see how she plays the (presumably very bitchy) sister of a Monaco royal. Perhaps we need to brush up on our French films to see her work thus far?

Secondly, but equally as important: Looks like the Grimaldis will still be filming in October. Seems like A Very Long Engagement, indeed, judging by Gossip Girl standards. How far into the season will we be then? Depending on how long she stays upon her return, we could be looking at a mid-season wedding cliffhanger! What do we think, gang? Will high society bride Blair pull a Rachel on her wedding day (or perhaps a Tracy Lord, if there ever was such a saying)? And if she does, what kind of Rachel will it be: running out of the church at the sight of a gravy boat, or accidentally saying “I do” to the wrong man? Or the right man, depending how you look at it.

Gossip Girl Boss Previews Blair and Her Men, Serena's New Life, and Exploiting the UES

A scandalous book, a mysterious new outsider, and one complicated love triangle — or is it a square?

The fifth season of The CW’s Gossip Girl, premiering Set. 26, has enough drama to keep its titular blogger glued to her keyboard for weeks. Wedding bells will be ringing for one Upper East Sider with a bevy of men in her life, while another finds her destiny far away from Manhattan.

Below, executive producer Josh Safran previews a new season that he says will be lighter, poppier, and a lot more fun.

FOR WHOM THE BELLS TOLL | Sorry, Chair and Dair fans, Blair’s nuptials to Louis are still very much on, and Safran’s excited about all the story potential that comes with such a royal affair. “There’s the shower. There’s the dress. There’s photographs,” he says. “There’s seating charts. There’s cake tasting.” But what about a hiccup or two? “Planning a wedding, even a non-royal one, can be a pain,” he teases. “[Blair and Louis] are definitely feeling those pains, and also the joys, that come both as a couple and independently.”

LITERARY SUPERSTAR | Vanessa’s unwelcome goodbye present – publishing Dan’s book without his knowledge – will be a big font of storylines. The season-long arc will propel Dan into a new world for which he may not be ready. “His maturation process is going to be sped up, because this is not a decision that he made for himself,” explains Safran. “When that happens…it is very much like a bullet from a gun that somebody else fired.” As the season opens, the young author will find himself “playing catch up and [wondering], ‘Where am I? Where am I?’” As for what the tell-all means for Dan and Blair’s friendship, Safran remains cryptic: “It affects things very much.”

DAIR TO CHAIR | After a fateful kiss, the show returned from a brief hiatus to have the Dan-Blair romance recede into the background. So what gives? Safran says the writers knew from early Season 1 – Episode 4, to be precise – that the two “were going to have a connection that was surprising to both of them, and was based on a shared emotional life.” Safran maintains “that storyline” — the impact of that connection on both Dan and Blair’s lives – “in whatever form, is continuing.” He singles out the final scene between Dan and Blair in the Season 4 finale, in which it appeared that Dan wasn’t quite over Blair, as “a very conscious and consciously placed piece.” Meanwhile, Chuck is in Los Angeles when the season kicks off, but Safran assures that he and Blair are always going to have stories together. “We have not abandoned Chuck and Blair by any stretch of the imagination,” he adds. “But that doesn’t mean it’s always going to be Chair or Dair or Lair or whatever nickname people want to give that.”

A NEW SERENA | Brace yourself for a shock. “Serena is lost no more,” reveals Safran. The flighty blonde will find her purpose in Los Angeles, which provides the backdrop for her new life in the season’s first two episodes. “She has taken the job that was offered to her at the end of last season, and we see just exactly how that has panned out for her,” teases Safran, adding that “Serena’s goals come very clearly into focus.”

GOSSIP GIRL, MEET PAYNE | The introduction of Elizabeth Hurley’s strong, savvy businesswoman Diana Payne will mean big things for Gossip Girl herself. But an unmasking of the all-knowing blogger is not in the cards. Rather, the show will be exploring “the role that Gossip Girl plays in our world,” says Safran. Diana, who’s also taking a look at the site, “sees the potential in an untapped market of these young twentysomethings that she believes could be exploited better,” explains Safran. So how does one take advantage of that demo? Lure them over to your side, of course! “She really takes it upon herself to avail herself of our cast and get them to come work for her.”

Ausiello

Question: Can you give me some really good stuff about what is going to happen on Gossip Girl?
Ausiello: Good stuff coming your way in 3, 2, 1… The show is pulling out “all the stops” for its milestone 100th episode in January, according to executive producer Josh Safran. “We want to honor the [fact] that it’s the 100th episode,” he says. “We know that we are very lucky to be coming by it, and we’re going to respect that. So we definitely want to make it feel like it is a special event. Let’s put it this way — it’s not going to be a clip show.” Hmm… Safran already confirmed that Blair will spend the first chunk of the season planning her royal nups to Louis, so it stands to reason that the wedding itself would take place around midseason. See where I’m going with this, people?

Question: I’m still confused about Taylor Momsen’s status on Gossip Girl. Is she gone for good? Gossip Girl isn’t the same without Lil J.
Ausiello: Sources confirm to TVLine that Jenny will return to the UES when hell freezes over. But it’s not like the show will pretend like she never existed. Case in point: Rumor has it her absence is addressed in the season premiere (and don’t assume she returned to school upstate).

I'd give ANYTHING for something on Dan and Blair on Gossip Girl. Please, give me some good news on them!
I just heard about something in episode four that literally made me gasp, then squeal, then blurt out, "Are you freaking serious?!" Turns out, the scandalous scene I'm talking about is not exactly what it seems, but I highly recommend you Chuck-Blair fans and Dan-Blair fans wear an adult diaper just in case. Consider yourself warned.

Hit me with some Serena news please!
She'll be working for a production company that wants to get the rights to a certain book written by a certain someone she knows very well. Hint: It's not Snooki.

Do you have any #gossipgirl Chuck and Blair news?
Chuck is gonna have a hard time feeling anything this year.

'Gossip Girl' Boss Talks Blair's Surprising Pregnancy, Elizabeth Hurley's Agenda and a Big 100th Episode (Q&A)
Executive producer Josh Safran reveals to THR that the show's first dream sequence of the year takes place in episode seven.

Who knew that after five seasons, Gossip Girl would be returning to the basics?

Last week’s premiere dropped a bombshell (Blair’s unexpected pregnancy) and set up the season’s arcs: Serena trying out the Hollywood thing, a “reformed” Chuck returning to his old ways and introducing the enigmatic Diana Payne (Elizabeth Hurley) into the fold. But after the departures of Taylor Momsen, Connor Paolo and Jessica Szohr, executive producer Josh Safran says this year the CW drama is focusing more on its core group. “This season is very much about the choices our characters making,” he tells The Hollywood Reporter.

As the show readies for its landmark 100th episode (which hasn't been written yet), Safran discusses the game-changing pregnancy reveal, why Diana is keen on the Gossip Girl website and what viewers can expect in future episodes.

[Warning: Minor spoilers ahead.]

The Hollywood Reporter: The writers always knew that Blair would be pregnant. Can you speak to why she was the one?

Josh Safran: We knew it was her that was pregnant when we placed the pregnancy test at the end of the finale so that wasn’t like we were going to place the pregnancy test and we’ll decide who’s pregnant later. We just knew we wanted Blair to have this complication thrown at her in her very orderly future life. Blair is the kind of person who often has a vision of how she wants her world to be and that vision meets with harsh realities left and right. This is just one of those realities and now, can she fit it into the vision of her future or does her future have to be altered in some way.

THR: The other question that comes up too, knowing Gossip Girl, will she even go through with the pregnancy? Is that going to played out through to the end?

Safran: I don’t want to comment on the storyline but I will say is that all of those questions are going to definitely come up for her. She’s going to have some interesting decisions to make in the near future.

THR: How will this development affect her friendships and romances?

Safran: It affects all of them in very interesting ways. This season is very much about the choices our characters making, whether it’s Dan’s book or Serena’s choice in career or Nate’s connection with Elizabeth Hurley. Every one of these character choices affect everybody around them.

THR: Was there any discussions about the baby being someone else’s before last season ended?

Safran: No, we knew it was Blair. We only did it because we knew that Blair was pregnant.

THR: The storylines seem to affect Blair more so than the other characters ..

Safran: It’s always been about the two girls (Serena and Blair) and their friendship has been the central conceit of the show and that remains very much the case this season. In the premiere, Serena’s in L.A. and Blair is in New York. Once they both get in New York, it’s very clearly still both of them. Serena will be returning to New York, which you’ll see in the second episode, at the end.

THR: Elizabeth Hurley’s character has an interest in the Gossip Girl website. Is there anything that you can reveal about how she’ll play into their world?

Safran: Diana Payne definitely, which you’ll hear about in Monday’s episode, wants to become the new media baron in New York. In order to do that, you need to eliminate your competitors, whether they’re the Post or Gossip Girl. She very much decides that in order to get what she wants, she needs to eliminate Gossip Girl. She’s got an agenda, but her agenda is very much to get where she wants to get, not somebody hit my dog with her car and I’m going about this convoluted way to get them. She’s direct, which unsettles the other characters because we’re not used to somebody saying, “You know what, I’m done with you.”

THR: Ivy (new series regular Kaylee DeFer) is back, but will viewers find out what happened to the real Charlie?

Safran: Yes. You will find out during the course of the season. I don’t want to say how that reveal will come about, but I will say that you cannot pretend to be somebody that exists without the person who’s existing to know about it.

THR: Will Chuck’s downfall near the end of last season be explored?

Safran: That will absolutely be revisited. That’s a major part of Chuck’s storyline this year.

THR: Are you facing any challenges this season?

Safran: The writers will attest to this, but there’s still so many stories to tell. The challenges in the past might have been the beginning of college because we didn’t want to be the kind of show that put everybody in the same school and then you realize they do that for a reason because the characters can interact. That’s maybe a mistake that we learned from.

THR: Is the blueprint for the series finale already set?

Safran: No, right now we just finished building our 100th episode. It’s going to be good, that’s all I can say. I can’t comment on [whether people will be returning], but what I can say is if you haven’t watched the show in a while, you can pop back in because it pays homage to every episode that came before it. It will center around a major event, probably the biggest event that we’ve done.

THR: Is there an idea in your head where you want the characters to end up?

Safran: Even when you do, in a weird way, they become living, breathing people to us. We all set goals for ourselves and those goals shift and change. Sure you can catch me up on Monday and I can say, “We all talked and we think it should be ‘X,’” then by Wednesday, it’s gone into a different direction. Some pieces we know and other pieces we hope for, but it could all change tomorrow.

THR: Are there any new characters or guest stars dropping by?

Safran: We’re looking at the first half of the season, because that’s where we are right now, of truly reconnecting our mains. Elizabeth Hurley is the only guest star because we wanted to make our characters fully enmeshed with each other. There are guest stars but they’re more Blair’s mother, Blair’s stepfather, Nate’s grandfather; it’s really more family stories. Season one was very much about these kids trying to define themselves and act out against their parents or realizing they were becoming their parents, as you grow up, you’re going to revisit those issues again.

THR: Anything else that can be teased?

Safran: Our first dream sequence of the year is in episode seven and it’s a really fun dream sequence. All I can tell you is it involves Blair, let’s put it that way.

I'm a huge GG fan, and actually also an active FF poster, but I want to share something I witnessed/overheard on set. This is the first time I've ever shared a spoiler and frankly I'm a little scared. So I'm posting behind a proxy with a separate account registered to a new email address, because the message C got has me spooked. I'm just really scared this is going to get back to me.

Anyway, it's a pretty big mythology dump that I overheard, and it had to do with Gossip Girl herself. The scene was a big dialogue between Ed, Liz, Des, and Jim. It took place on an Empire set. Diana was explaining something I didn't quite understand, but it caused Chuck to think she was GG. William says she's not, they both were/are. Jack is just as confused as Chuck. They explain that GG was originally conceived by some members of a secret society made of up Constance-St. Jude's alums. They seemed to imply it was the same one Chuck infiltrated back in season 2 because he recognizes it was the one his father was a part of. William (van der Bilt, not Woodsen) says that Bart met Diana there. GG was created to keep their heirs in line and steer the direction of the Upper East Side elite's future. It was never one person but a network of people. But now they need to shut it down because it's out of their hands. They "tap" Chuck to be a member of their society and tell him he needs to use his speech (I don't know what this is?) to out the current GG (Penelope apparently? wonder what happened to S ) before she can destroy Nate (have no idea what she could have on him).

wrightst3: Bart Bass was spotted on the set of Gossip Girl. Any scoop about him returning from the grave?

Yes, the father of our favorite motherChucker is in fact returning to the CW drama and viewers can expect to see the not-so-dearly departed Bart Bass at the end of the season. John Robert Burke appeared as Bart ghost-style in season two, but if we had to guess, we'd say he'll be returning in a flashback capacity this time around.

Gossip Girl Scoop: Dan/Blair/Chuck Triangle Will 'Come To a Head' in Explosive Season Finale

TVLINE | Dan and Blair go public with their romance in “Salon of the Dead” on April 16. What obstacles do they face beyond that?
The obstacles are always going to be that Dan knows just how big of a presence Chuck has been in Blair’s life. And that’s something Blair works very hard to put Dan at ease about, but I think the harder she works at putting Dan at ease about that the more uneasy he feels. And, obviously, their relationship is hard for everybody around them because Serena was and maybe still is in love with Dan. And Chuck has his issues that he’s dealing with. And whenever Chuck is dealing with issues, Blair often wants to help.

TVLINE | Is Louis no longer a factor?
He is no longer a factor.

TVLINE | So Georgina takes care of that situation?
The situation will be taken care of. I’m not sure it’s ultimately Georgina who takes care of it.

TVLINE | If Ivy loved having a family so much, why is she alienating the Van der Woodsens? What’s her endgame?
She definitely still wants to be a part of the family. But she’s upset because no matter what she has tried to do they don’t accept her. So, at this point, she feels like she has nothing left to prove because they’re not going to accept her anyway, so she’s just going to look out for herself.

TVLINE | Is Serena the new Gossip Girl?
I don’t want to say because Monday’s episode is very much about that struggle for Serena. But it’s like the Ring and Frodo. That’s how we looked at that story.

TVLINE | It feels like the storyline is building to you revealing the identity of the real Gossip Girl. Is it?
This storyline is something we did not tread lightly about. We knew if we were going to open this door we had to see it through. And we will be seeing it through.

TVLINE | So we will find out who Gossip Girl is this season?
I’m not going to comment on that. But we are seeing the story through.

TVLINE | What else will Serena be up to in these final episodes?
Serena definitely has been feeling a little powerless this season, whether it’s losing Dan to Blair or losing her job that she cared about with David O. Russell, and then the Spectator. She’s going to [try to] gain her power back and be the Serena van der Woodsen she once was. Whether that means transitioning out of being an “It Girl” and being a creator of “It Girls,” or whether that means stealing her spotlight back you’ll have to watch and see.

TVLINE | Is it fair to say the season finale will revolve around Blair making a choice between Dan and Chuck.
It doesn’t revolve around that. That triangle definitely comes to the end point. But the episode revolves around Serena quite heavily. It’s a very huge turning point for Serena — probably the biggest one she’s had since Season 1.

TVLINE | Does the episode end with a cliffhanger?
Oh, it ends with many cliffhangers. We always try to make our finales really exciting and juicy and fun. But in this one, it’s like a bomb gets detonated and levels everything.

TVLINE | So you’re feeling pretty confident about a sixth season?
Yes.

TVLINE | A report surfaced that The CW may only renew the show for 13 episodes.
I can’t comment on that because I don’t have an answer. That remains to be seen. But we are not closing out this season with a series finale.

Do you have any scoop for Chuck and Blair for Gossip Girl #spoileroom — @Smallville944
Yes. But the Chuck/Blair/Dan-centric portion of my convo with Safran was so good, I’ll share it with you in a separate story FIRST thing Monday. Cool? And no, this answer doesn’t count against the three fan questions. It’s more of an FYI.

I am dyyyyiing to know about Jack Bass and his return to GG. What is going on with him and Chuck? And Elizabeth Hurley? More info, pretty please! — Love, Emily
May I say, Emily, you sound mildly excited about Desmond Harrington’s return. But I can’t blame you! I think you’re going to love seeing the fun to be had when Uncle Bass comes back into Chuck’s life — that is, before things take a dramatic “turn.” “He and Chuck are on good terms,” Safran says. “It’s really fun between them — seeing them as uncle and nephew in a really light way. But then the story takes a turn and something is revealed. And Jack’s role in them will be challenged by Chuck.” [See below for a little scoop on your girl Liz.]

I’d love to hear about Chuck, Serena or Nate’s story. Or whether Chair fans have anything to look forward to #GossipGirl — @Jaime20lee
Let’s go with Nate — and with good reason. He has some juicy stuff coming up that stems from the return of the aforementioned leggy beauty Liz Hurley, and it’s going to put some strain on his new relationship with Lola. (One of many strains, I hear.) But Nate’s major moment of the season comes closer to the end, after the full core team reunites for their seasonal take-down. “Every season we have our core group come together to vanquish an enemy,” says Safran. “This season — just upping it a little bit — our core group comes together for more than one episode to vanquish an enemy. Maybe even more than one! And that story involves Nate in a major way.”

Anything good for Chuck and Blair? Or Serena and Blair? S/B have been abandoned this season. — @BlairsMinion
If it’s a S/B story you’re craving my sweet ‘Minion, hold on to your headband because that’s pretty much the essence of the “really special” season finale, according to Safran. “The landscape of Gossip Girl will be forever changed from this point forward for everybody,” he says. “[It’s] almost entirely about Serena and Blair and their friendship and what that will be exactly.”

Hey everyone, I wrote this post yesterday night after watching the Chair scene being filmed, but forgot to post it. Here you go.

Earlier this was filmed as the first scene: Jack & Chuck were talking, laughing & gambling. Then Jack walks away.

Chuck is still playing… then Blair comes up and sits down-and gets her own chips to start playing. He doesn’t look too surprised by her… they talk for a little while- and and she puts her hand on top of his - I am not sure if it was for comfort or affection or both (my guess is that it was both-by the look on her face). Then Chuck shoots a small smile to her and Blair moves her hand away and goes back to playing—while Chuck is still looking at her… she says something else with a side glance to him and then they cut. It was not a very long scene.

Okay guys…here is the extra info about episode 23 I found out. I hope this clears some things up for you—and makes more questions come up—because speculating is always fun! If you guys want me to try and figure out where my other info for this episode fits into this info…I will…just let me know.

Okay so I found out that a lot of the filming was done on the NY Spectator set and supposedly because of Diana’s return she got a new office. Nate wasn’t happy to find out that Diana has returned and tells her that. He tells her to leave immediately. Nate then supposedly gets a visit from Ivy and she apologizes for everything that she has done.

There was a Blair & Chuck scene with them waiting outside of Diana’s Office. But Blair never got to meet her because she had to leave before they saw her. (SPEC: Obviously she is trying to help Chuck find out Diana’s motives and ties to his family.) When Chuck saw Diana he prodded her for information. And Diana agreed to help him – but told Chuck that he would have to do something for her. (What do you guys think she might want from him? Maybe for him to sign over The Empire to her?) Serena goes Chuck at his and Nate’s place to see if he is okay and finds Diana at his place. Nate comes in and Nate finds Diana there. Chuck explains that he has taken care of Diana and they have a deal (SPEC:I assume that Nate tells Chuck about her ‘evilness’ because he is worried). Diana supposedly gives Chuck a name. After that, Diana and Chuck make their arrangement official by signing a contract of sorts and shaking hands. But then something Nate & Lola done makes the deal turn sour and she calls it off. (What do you guys think they did?) Then when Serena, Nate, and Chuck are at the empire trying to find a way to better the situation and Blair shows up to help. They call Ivy and Lola for back up. They all plan a scheme together supposedly where Ivy and Lola will pretend to be twins(Twins? Really, Waldorf, REALLY?)-and Ivy is willing to do anything to help because she wants to make amends with all of them-get back in with them. Serena then says that they don’t need Ivy (SPEC:obviously S is still pissed at her) and she then says that she can do whatever Blair was going to have Ivy do. Serena reminds Blair that she has somewhere to be(SPEC:I am guessing to go see Dan and talk to him)—but Blair knows she will need to stay to make sure everything goes off without a hitch and stays. Then Blair says she has a different acting job for Serena to do<ie:The job Blair has for her from the last spoilers I gave. (What do you guys think she wants her to do?)

Diana has a scene where she is on the phone with someone called “MacGuffin” (SPEC:I have a hunch about who this is-but would like to hear all your thoughts before I tell you) and she says that they need to leave town immediately together. Nate overhead this and sends a text to Chuck (Diana’s leaving) and gets a response automatically (stall her).

After that Nate goes into her office and sees her packing up. She leaves. Someone from the times wants to interview Diana for something. The woman from the times has come for Diana. Nate says she’s gone.

Around the end of the episode Lola asks Nate if Diana just got away. Nate and Lola have a scene where she is wearing his PJ top and drying her face—and Nate gets a text (I think it’s from Diana-since it supposedly says “thx for everything love…”- that sounds British to me). (Do you guys think it is Diana texting him or someone else? If it is Diana-why would she be thanking him?) This is old info but when Blair goes to see Dan and talk about Rome before she can give him an answer—the diary blast appears on GG girl. I am assuming that this is where the episode ends.

So.. One of our users' sister was on set on Friday and this is her experience:

"They did a lot of takes of that scene: Chuck is sitting at the table and Blair joins him, while they're both sitting there, Jack arrives, says something and then leaves. That's how the scene ends.
Unfortunately she wasn't near enough to hear the dialogues.
Ed and Leighton kept on hugging and laughing during the takes. Which was very cute and sweet.
When they were done shooting, some girls started following Ed and Leighton, that were trying to reach their trailer.
After a while they both came out and got into two different cars. Leighton was very sweet she kept on smiling and waving at everyone.
I showed her the pictures that you guys posted here, and she told me, the person who took them was a guy that was standing right next to her that had a professional camera.
Also while they were filming, during the takes Leighton used to turn around and wave at the fans. She started joking and telling them to be quiet. Ed turned around once, I think, and waved at my sister."

- We should get more pictures (and maybe a video), we're gonna post them as soon as possible.
She sent us this pic for now <3 http://bit.ly/H25j7h

"Gossip Girl" boss teases Dair's bedroom bust. Plus, an EXCLUSIVE CLIP from tonight's episode

When Gossip Girl returns tonight, two members of the gang will be mourning something near and dear to them — and, let’s face it, us — their sex life.

No one could have foreseen this issue arising for Dan and Blair — least of all them. After a fairly lengthy period of love tango between the two, tonight’s episode finds them realizing that their dance in the bedroom needs some work. And while a lesser couple might take this as a sign of non-compatibility, executive producer Josh Safran says the issue is a little different for Dair. “Honestly, for Dan especially, he has loved her for years now, so when you have all of that expectation pent up, it can often go wrong. For Blair, this is a major step — to actually go there with somebody who she didn’t see that way for a very long time and only recently has begun to understand how much he cared about her. Then, she had those feelings herself. It’s scary,” he says. “It’s not necessarily chemistry as much as it is where they are emotionally.”

As with any relationship, he adds, the issue could make or break a pair. But, he assures, “The fun of this story is how they try to overcome it.” That’s not to say it’s smooth sailing after they (presumably) work their issues out in the boudoir.

After losing so much of her identity during her royal mess of a courtship with Prince Louis, Blair will slowly put the pieces of herself back together, says Safran. “I really do believe that Blair’s been through a lot and Dan definitely represents a different side to Blair. In a relationship with him, she’s discovering a different side to herself, as well,” he says. And while Dan will be key to helping Blair become the strong Queen B we once knew, “the question will be for Blair: is this where she sees her life going and how does she feel [about that]?”

But the rest of the season isn’t merely existential conflict, Safran assures. “We have some very vintage Blair stories coming up — like old-school Blair — because she’s definitely getting back to her former self. There’s one story in particular that is just really really super fun and hilarious. I just know the audience is going to love it,” he teases.

That leaves the question of dear old Chuck Bass — the other side to this love triangle of never-ending fan debate. While Dan and Blair get cozy, Chuck will be preoccupied with “some stuff apart from Blair” for the next couple of episodes, no doubt a reference to the return of his uncle, Jack Bass. And, says Safran, the heaviness of Chuck’s situation will begin to “affect him deeply,” leaving Blair with a choice to make. “Whenever Chuck’s been in trouble before, she always wanted to help because she cares about him. So the question is: will she help him because he looks like he needs it or will she not for the sake of her relationship with Dan?” he says.

Hey guys! So here is the new info I promised you all. I just want to remind you— it isn’t as specific as all my other posts — but still pretty interesting…So if you have any questions—- Let me know…I’ll do my best to answer them. Don’t read on if you don’t want to be spoiled

Okay, so Serena (as you know from this episode) decides to become GG for a bit to at least try and take down Ivy. But she is going to continue to use the power of GG and keep it from all her friends and family. Also, she is going to team up with someone unexpected (I think Diana) and their partnership will ultimately make her choose between the dark side — and the light. In the finale, she makes a decision on which side she wants to be on…but will lose the power GG gives her…because of it. Also, she will have phone contact with GG herself.

Georgina is going to be returning for the finale- and it is only going to be for one scene - and it will be one of the major cliffhangers of the episode as to why she has chosen to return - and why she only seeks out one person to talk to…

Dan & Blair’s relationship will continue to grow- but not with a lot of obstacles in their way. In one episode— they are going to have a huge fight. So big in fact that it will look like they have broken up— but either at the end of the episode or the beginning of the next one they will make up. (I am guessing this is the episode that they filmed in Yonker’s). Also, Dan is going to ask Blair to go to Rome with him-but you already knew that.

Dan’s new novel and Inside becoming a film SL will be revisited next year. But it is going to be mentioned again this season by Blair. They are going to have a convo about it where she says something like “I am glad it didn’t become a movie— because any actress that could play me truthfully is either dead or too high-profile for a movie like this…”

Nate and Ivy’s relationship will be tumultuous. Because of her somewhat hesitant stance to become a part of the VDW family, his past relationship with Diana and other problems that Nate will encounter/find out about. But they will make it to at least the season finale-whether they break up before that I am not sure— but I know she is going to be leaving for an acting job (Lola and the Actress that plays her lol) in the Season finale— just when he wants to ask her to move in.

Diana does have a pretty strong connection to the Bass family. Whether that means she is a relative or something else…I am not sure. But Chuck and Nate will tirelessly try to find out…before the truth comes out at the end of episode 23.

Nate is going to be wrestling with the decision of leaving the spectator when another opportunity arises.

The secret of Lola actually being William’s kid with Carol will cause a bigger secret to be revealed when everything comes out. One that involves both someone involved and a seemingly outside member of the Drama. And Someone is going to be incarcerated…

Rufus and Lily’s marital problems will become so big they will actually be living in separate places (boroughs) at one point. But they will find their way back to one another by the end of the season.

The content of the DAIR scene on the MET steps is incredibly cheesy and romantic. Basically, after her marriage is finally over — he is going to give her a tiara to make sure Blair knows she is still royalty in his eyes.

While Jack and Chuck’s relationship is good at the beginning— a secret will put a big strain on it. This secret will come out— in a big way..and will lead to a life changing decision/action for them both.

Chuck and Blair’s will grow closer as friends then they have been for a while. He reaches out to her for help continuously and she never turns him down. Dan will be okay with it at first, letting her do her own thing…but it will cause a lot of strain for them down the line-because Blair will begin to break dates with him “Don’t wait up…” to help Chuck with his family drama. The finale is where this all comes to a head.

NOW IN BREAKING MAYBE POTENTIALLY AMAZING NEWS there is a party there is cake and it's for Blair a divorce party no that isnt the great news nor is it a little weird that she is having on in the finale but she is not showing up I repeat it looks l,e Dan is waiting for Blair whom does not show up to her own party he talks to Rufus and then to Serena and he looks annoyed and them they go off together and scene but because Leighton is not filming today I am assuming she gets held up maybe at the casino helping chuck and maybe that her making her choice idk but I think her not showing up to her own party in the finale standing up Dan can only work to our benefit right

Serena gets an invitation to a movie premier from an old coworker from LA. He also offers her another job on a movie he is starting in the beginning of the summer. Blair comes back from the loft and ignores a waiting Serena—she is obviously pissed and knows that Serena sent the blast of her diary to GG. Serena and Blair fight about the blast in Blair’s room. Blair thinks Serena reading her diary was bad enough but to post it for everyone to see is even more reprehensible. Serena tries reason with her that she didn’t mean to post it—but she just wanted to know that she could. While this is happening Dorota begin to beckon Blair’s minions to the penthouse at the request of Blair.

Chuck and Nate talk about Nate asking Lola to move in with him. Lola tells Nate that she has been offered a summer acting job (whether this is before or after he asks her to move in with him I don’t know). When Chuck reads one of Blair diary blast pages he thinks there might still be a chance for him and Blair.

Bart is alive. Dan and Rufus have a scene at the loft that deals with how Bart coming back from the dead might affect Lily & Rufus’s marriage. Rufus is determined to make up with Lily. Dan reads another GG blast about Blair’s diary and gets a little upset by it-I am guessing that this is the same blast that Chuck is encouraged by.

Lily is upset because of Bart’s resurrection and the problems her and Rufus are going through.

Bart and Chuck talk about “grand gestures” and Chuck receives something he had before but lost from one of his co-workers. (three guesses on what that might be?)

Bart and Lily talk at the VDW apartment about why he faked his own death; it was the only way to keep Chuck and her safe. Lily wish she would have known because then maybe things would have worked out differently between them but Bart disagrees-knowing that she was about to leave him for Rufus. Lily apologizes and tell him that Chuck thinking he was actually dead was hell for him. Bart is grateful for all she has done for Chuck—for loving him and actually adopting him as her own after his “death.” Bart and Lily are actually still married with Chuck being their son together. Bart has a part of him that would like to pick up from where they left off. Lily tries to stop this line of thinking and Bart complies. He knows she is happily married to Rufus now-and will do whatever she wants him to do. Lily has a choice to make—between Bart and Rufus.

Blair and mother talk about the diary blast where Blair warns her that if she reads it she might be hurt by some of the things she wrote about her. Blair and her minions work to do damage control from the fallout of the Diary Blast—because Blair insulted many people and places throughout NYC in the pages of her diary. Her minions get distracted reading from the pages of her diary. The only thing more interesting then saving Blair’s future—is reading about her past. Blair gets even more pissed at Serena and then gets revenge by making sure Serena is uninvited to the movie premier she was invited to in the beginning of the episode.

Blair has a scene with Chuck about her Diary Blast. She wants to check up on him and make sure none of the things she wrote hurt him in any way. He dismisses it because he knows he shouldn’t be hurt by something she wrote over a year ago. He thinks there might be another reason why she came—like to tell him she broke up with Dan. Blair and Dan haven’t broken up. Chuck is tired of waiting for her—he has been doing that all year- he needs to really move on. Blair agrees but doesn’t move to leave. She gets a text from Dan during the moments pause (I think it will say- I am going to be at the Divorce party tonight and if you care about me at all—you will come and tell me what/who you really want/how you feel about me). Blair leaves Chuck after reading this without answering him. (She is torn about what to do—who to choose…)

Serena intercepts Penelope outside of Penelope’s building. Blair fired Penelope for some reason and she is on her way to the Shepard’s Divorce party. Serena wants to make sure that Blair doesn’t get the chance to go to the party-telling Penelope to keep her at the penthouse. This is probably because she wants revenge on Blair for screwing up her chances at the work on the movie and going to the premier….

Gossip Girl Finale Post Mortem: Show's Boss on Blair's Choice, Dan's Revengenda and More
http://tvline.com/2012....-mortem

Broken hearts, sex tapes and a whole lot of texting — it must be finale time on Gossip Girl. But while some relationships came to an end in Monday’s Season 5 capper, an old one started to rekindle when Blair finally admitted that her heart belongs to Chuck. So will the couple get their happy ending? Are things really over with Dan? And will Serena spiral? Executive producer Stephanie Savage weighs in on all of those questions and previews the upcoming sixth and final season.

THE FINAL GAME PLAN | “Getting ready for Season 6, everybody rewatched the pilot,” says Savage. “We talked about what our favorite episodes were, some of our favorite dynamics. … We’re leaving it all on the floor. We really want [the last episodes] to count and to be really special.” Priority No. 1: Focusing on the core characters. “The gang that you saw in that final act [of the Season 5 finale will be] the main players when we come back.” And yes, that includes Georgina, who Dan summoned to help him eviscerate the Upper East Side after getting dumped by Blair and used by Serena. So just how nasty will his quest get? “When you call in Georgina Sparks, you’re not looking to [play nice],” hints Savage.

BLAIR’S HEART | The former princess may have chosen the Dark Knight, but Chuck— tired of putting her first and losing everything — was having none of it. Still, Blair showed up at a Parisan casino where Chuck was gambling to earn back his fortune. “It was Blair coming to declare that she was in it to win it with Chuck and leaving that [relationship's future] as the question of Season 6,” previews Savage. And for the Dair ‘shippers out there, we’re afraid we have bad news. “We crafted the last act of the episode to set us in a certain direction next year,” says Savage, all but confirming the death of Dair.

SERENA’S DOWNFALL | In a deliberate echo to the pilot, Serena took off on a train and retreated to her old, bad habits, using drugs and hooking up with strangers. “Feeling like she’s lost Blair, lost Dan, she’s all by herself again,” explains Savage. “It’s going to put her in a pretty precarious situation.” Meanwhile, that sex tape she made of herself and Dan may rear its ugly head again. “Well, if somebody had a sex tape on their cell phone, and they said they deleted it, but you never really saw that it was deleted…” the EP trails off. Yeah, we can do the math on that one.

NATE: YOU WIN SOME, YOU LOSE SOME | Nate will “be tracking down” that mysterious hooded figure who may or may not be Gossip Girl. But unraveling the indenity of the infamous blogger “is something that has larger implications to the franchise beyond just our series,” explains the EP. “That reveal requires conversations at the highest level.” While Nate may have gotten a major clue in the war against Gossip Girl, he won’t be so lucky in the romance department next season. Ella Rae Peck, who plays Lola, is starring in NBC’s new drama series Infamous, so “it seems like she’s not going to be available to do the show next year.” Poor Nate, will he ever find lasting love? “That’s something that’s a big part of his series arc, and something that we’re going to be exploring next year.”

Gossip Girl – Season 6 – Press Release

Six years after the first Gossip Girl blast rocked the Upper East Side and viewers at home, GOSSIP GIRL, a one-hour drama about the scandalous lives of Manhattan’s elite, executive produced by Josh Schwartz (Chuck, The O.C.), Stephanie Savage (The O.C.), Sara Goodman, Bob Levy and Les Morgenstein, returns for an unforgettable final season.

Season six opens with the Upper East Siders working together to find one of their own. Serena has gone off the grid, beyond even the reach of Gossip Girl. Her friends fear for the worst and hope for the best, but even they can’t imagine where they will ultimately find her. Meanwhile, Blair has offered Chuck her heart, but is her love enough to help him win back his empire? Lonely Boy Dan has written a new book that promises to make even more trouble than the first, and this time he has no desire to remain anonymous. Nate is determined to finally reveal the true identity of Gossip Girl, thereby making a name for The Spectator, and himself. Lily and Rufus turn on one another when Rufus makes a surprising new ally who threatens Lily and her family. Anywhere else it would be too much drama to handle, but this is the Upper East Side. And when Bart Bass, Jack Bass and Georgina Sparks show up to raise hell, it’s a fight to the spectacular series finale. Who comes out on top? That’s one secret I’ll never tell… xoxo, Gossip Girl.

The series stars Blake Lively as Serena van der Woodsen, Leighton Meester as Blair Waldorf, Penn Badgley as Dan Humphrey, Chace Crawford as Nate Archibald, Ed Westwick as Chuck Bass, Kaylee Defer as Charlie Rhodes, Kelly Rutherford as Lily van der Woodsen and Matthew Settle as Rufus Humphrey. Filmed in New York and based on the popular series of young-adult novels by Cecily von Ziegesar, GOSSIP GIRL is from Fake Empire and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios with executive producers Josh Schwartz (“Chuck,” “The O.C.”), Stephanie Savage (“The O.C.”), Leslie Morgenstein (“The Vampire Diaries”), Bob Levy (“The Vampire Diaries”) and Sara Goodman (“Reunion”).

Question: So B chose C in the Gossip Girl finale. Fine. But it seems like D and B didn’t get any closure… Should Dair fans pretty much stop hoping next season? –Mel

Ausiello: Dair is done. I’ve made peace with it, and now so should you. In other GG news, EP Josh Schwartz confirms that the 11-episode final season will focus on “core dynamics and the core characters.” Adds Stephanie Savage: “There are definitely some things we want to see in the series finale, and we think we have a great opportunity to tell those final stories and honor our characters and honor our fans. We’re really excited for this final run.”

Melissa: Any scoop on the final season of Gossip Girl?
New hottie alert! The show is currently looking to cast the role of a handsome international businessman named Jean-Pierre, who is a bit older than our core group and will recur in season six. Added bonus? An accent, a French one to be exact.

Lynette: I'll take anything you got on next season of Gossip Girl. Is there hope for Chuck and Blair?
That's the first time we've heard that question. Oh, we kid because we love! After all, we asked the exact same thing to Leighton Meester recently. "Who knows? But probably," she laughed to us. "I think you can imagine that happening for sure. I have ways that I hope it will end, but I don't want to get anybody else's hopes up." But before Chuck and Blair can find forever love with each other, Meester hopes for some Gossip Girl madness. "I hope that a lot of crazy stuff happens. I'm ready for it." As are we.

Gossip Girl are currently casting for 3 new recurring roles. Two Female (Sage and Amira) and One Male (Jean-Pierre)

How long you think does the filming from gossip girl season 6 take??
we will be done in October :(

very big,she was marrying the Prince of Monaco & it was a very big thing so I think when, if, ever Chuck and Blair get married it would be very over the top to do &....tune in to see if they do & what they wear
Q: What would Chuck wear if we had to finally see him as the groom? I hope something special!(pretty similar question)
Eric: Chuck of course would wear something special & of course would be
in tune to Blair's needs & what the wedding would be.I think would definitely be over the top[...] it would be an amazing moment & if it happens i hope everyone watches, really appreciate it & tweet about it all the time .
Q: We've seen three weddings on Gossip Girl & all of them had amazing outfits, would you like to style another one on GG?
Eric: I would, you know styling the weddings is a lot of fun,we've done
garden parties & we've done the princes wedding & i think If there is a next wedding on GG it will be the wedding of the century & i think thats what it should be.Is all very exciting & i'm happy to be a part of it

*оно просто греет мое израненное сердце 3h3 *

"Gossip Girl": Just because Prince Louis is out of the picture doesn't mean Blair can avoid Frenchmen forever. Producers are looking for a fluent French actor (with an accent, obviously) to play the recurring role of Jean-Pierre in Season 6. He's a "handsome international businessman" with some ties to her royal ex.

@xoxodanielleeee
@cadlymack do you know if this new french character will be a romantic interest of Blair?

@cadlymack
@xoxodanielleeee no, it won't.

Blind Item: Which Primetime Soap Sweethearts Are Planning a Fall Wedding?

Since I’m currently on assignment in the Pacific Northwest — between us, I’m hunting down a slice of cherry pie and a damn fine cup of coffee — AA will be MIA this week. But, to tide you over until next time, I’m dishing out a blind item that I suspect many of you will find just as satisfying.

It concerns a primetime soap that, although popular, came thisclose to getting the axe at season’s end — and just when a pair of its well-liked lovebirds were heading for a reunion, too. Now I hear that, when the show returns this fall, it’ll pick up right where it left off and pleasantly surprise fans by immediately marrying off the star-crossed couple in question.

Question: Seeing as how Gossip Girl is starting filming very soon, have you got any new info you can share with us? —Danielle
Ausiello: Things are looking up for the drug-addled, friendless basket case that is Serena: I’m hearing she’ll be getting a major new love interest for the sixth and final season — one with the potential to sweep her off her feet and ride her… off into the sunset. What did you think I was going to say?

Question: Your latest Blind Item about the fall wedding — is it an ABC primetime show? Jacklyn
Ausiello: Sure ain’t. The show in question airs on The CW.

Gossip Girl Taps Lost Beauty for Final Season

Sayid’s One True Love (unless you are to believe Lost‘s series finale, which we do not) has set her sights on the Upper East Side.
Andrea Gabriel — who portrayed the ill-fated Nadia on ABC’s mysterious island drama — has nabbed a recurring role in Gossip Girl‘s upcoming sixth and final season.
She joins the CW soap as a businesswoman from Dubai, Variety reports.

Gabriel, who comes from suds blood (she’s the daughter of Ryan’s Hope‘s John Gabriel [Seneca Beaulac] and All My Children‘s Sandy Gabriel [Edna Thornton]), most recently appeared in an episode of Franklin & Bash and will next help close out the big-screen Twilight Saga in Breaking Dawn Part 2.
Gossip Girl Season 6 launches Monday, Oct. 8 at 9/8c.

Gossip Girl Exclusive: 7th Heaven's Barry Watson Joins Final Season as Serena's New Love Interest

Serena’s love life is looking up, way up — her latest beau comes all the way from Heaven.

Gossip Girl has tapped 7th Heaven vet Barry Watson to join the sixth and final season as a romantic interest for Blake Lively‘s unlucky-in-love alter ego, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Little is known about his recurring character, save for his name (Steven Spence) and occupation (he’s a young entrepreneur).

Watson’s post-Heaven credits include portraying the title character in ABC’s What About Brian and co-starring as Christina Applegate’s on-again, off-again boyfriend in ABC’s Samantha Who? Last year, he played Sara Rue’s time-travelling suitor in the ABC Family pic My Future Boyfriend.

Gossip Girl‘s abbreviated farewell season launches Monday, October 8.

heartchuckandblair asked: OMG You were on gg set!!! You're so lucky!! But I didn't understand one thing: did you watch a part from 6x01??? :O And what about chair?? xoxx
I didnt watch any from 6x01. Just 6x02. However, they told me a lot about Serena that happens in 6x01. But when i asked about the limo and hotel scene they just smiled and said they couldn’t reveal anything and said I already knew too much!

signaturescarf asked: Aww, too bad. I wish we could find out how good it is for CB in that episode.

What i watched wasn’t CB… I saw Blair and Dorota and Nate and Dan. Due to the conversations that the pairs had I was able to piece things together… However, I was reading the script for Bart and Lily and it confused me about the fate of CB. But BLair and Dorota’s scene made me think that CB was together. Same with Dan and Nate’s scene. But Lily said something that confused me about CB. Sorry if that was confusing! (x)

whereheartlies asked: Can you not even tell us if it’s look good for CB ? Like little good sign from heaven or idk ?

I am utterly confused as to what happened! I watched scenes with Dan and Nate and Blair and Dorota. By listening to the conversations the pairs had I think it was good for CB.. But I am not 100% sure. Also, I heard about a convo between Lily and Bart and got confused about CB. I am about 75% sure they are together but I am not certain. (x)

ilovemyleightedchair asked: I read that you were on set today. Can you please tell me if Leighton & Ed were filming together & if you can’t give details on what you learned/saw at least tell us if there is something good for Chuck and Blair fans or not ?

Leighton and Ed were not filming together. It was Blair and Dorota and Nate and Dan. Like I’ve said to the other questions… I have mixed feelings. Nate Dan Blair and Dorota all gave me hope… But Lily and Bart’s convo that I read about didn’t. I hope this helped! THis is all I can give away… But when the 1st episode premiers I am able to tell you all I know about the second one! (x)

Anonymous asked: Are there going to be interviews of the actors on the 11th episode clip ?

I am not sure! All I know is that somewhere in the season (they said that it will probably be the episode before the finale) there is going to be a full episode devoted to the many love triangles, schemes, and main plot lines. They are going to have different clips from every major thing that happened in all 6 years of the show!

Anonymous asked: I know you can’t tell us anything, but… does season 6 look like it will be good? X)

YES!!! SEASON 6 LOOKS LIKE IT WILL BE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Just from watching about 15 minutes of the second episode you can really tell how much more effort they are putting into the lines, makeup, hair, sets, etc.. I was so stunned at the turn around of the disaster of season 5 to the amazingness of 15 minutes of the second episode! Blair looks absolutely phenomenal! However, I couldn’t take a picture with her because it gave to much away! :C

Heyya, could you give us a little hint? Is the major thing about CB…in a good or bad way?

I am soo sorry but the only hint I can give is that im 75% sure Chair is happening. The major thing will be a shock to everyone when you actually watch but it was not about Chair. Dan and Nate and Blair and Dorota’s convo’s made me happy about the fate of chair but lily and bart’s did not.

xoxo (x)

wrightst3 asked: Hi. Can you please say if you are happy or not with what you found out on set yesterday? All the Chuck and Blair fans are worried about this season after the disaster of last season.

Like I’ve said, I am not 100% sure about their fate. Nate and Dan, Blair and Dorota had conversations in pairs and in each convo they made me happy about the chair outcome. However, I was listening to a conversation between Bart and Lily but I couldn’t hear the whole thing as they were rehersing and it made me kind of nervous because of a line lily said! Im 75% sure about Chair but I could be wrong. However, either way they will def end up together!

xoxo (x)

Anonymous asked: On the Nate/Dan convo was Dan mad at Blair? Do you think that Chuck and Blair may want to keep their reunion (if they are reunited) in secret? Thanks for the info you gave us!

Dan wasn’t really directing his anger towards a single person. He was actually scary to watch! His anger was more channeled into stubbornness and scariness That could quite possibly be true about Chuck and Blair. However, I actually have no idea! That would make A LOT of sense!

xoxo (x)

girlspanic asked: Trying to ask a question you might answer, haha… In what way did Blair/Dorota make you happy about CB? Did B say something good about Chuck, or did Dorota? Did their plan include him? Any innocent details are much appreciated! Thanks for being awesome. <3

All i can say is that B said something that might have given me hope about their relationship…. However, i could be wrong! (x)

Anonymous asked: Does the shocking moment has to do with Lily & Chuck ? Without giving details or anything

Not lily and chuck! Its more of the large storyline all together that was at first shocking! (x)

wrightst3 asked: Thank you for answering. So Blair seemed like she was happy when talking about Chuck?

She wasnt directly talking about him. She included him when talking to Dorota about a topic that must be kept secret. Hope I helped! (x)

Anonymous asked: Do you know if Monkey is going to be in season 6 ?

I have no idea. I saw a dog bed but it was not out (x)

Anonymous asked: Hi ! Thanks for the little info you give us Have you seen a ring on blair left finger ?

I was not able to see one. She was only using her right hand! (x)

chairtomytable asked: Thank you for all the set info! I bet your ask box is overflowing, and I apologize for adding to the mess, haha. I was wondering, though, if you could tell us what/or along the lines of what Dan/Nate and Blair/Dorota said? Since you said it gave you CB hope then it wouldn’t be giving much away. If not, no matter - you’re being so open and kind! Thanks! ✌

Thanks! I’m so sorry but I really can’t. However, you can probably guess. It all had to do with the 5th season finale. What all the characters were planning on doing. I can’t really say anything else. (x)

Anonymous asked: whatd lily say

It’s quite shocking what Lily says to Bart. But I cant tell you what she said. Sorry! (x)

bass-spanking asked: Thanks For what you can say )) ! And did you talk to the cast ? How are they ?!

I talked to leighton, zuzanna, chace, and penn. i talked to chace and penn together for about 10 minutes and they are both so hot and nice!! We had an amazing conversation! I talked to Leighton for about 15 minutes and honestly she is the sweetest and prettiest person I have ever had the honor of meeting! I talked to Zuzanna for like 20ish minutes and she is so nice also! However, like Ed she has a fake accent for the show! She’s from the midwest! (x)

Anonymous asked: what’d you talk to them about?:D

Where I lived, how long I’ve been watching, I showed leighton my 100’s of pics on my phone of chair. She complimented me on my Blair like headband. Zuzanna and I talked about everything. She grew up near my dad.. She liked my phone case, told me that i was so cute, said it was so nice to hve an actual fan on set, etc. Chace and Penn talked to me about where i lived. Wanted me to come back. Asked me to give them feedback on their performance. Chace made a joke about how bad penn is with his lines and we all laughed. Etc

Anonymous asked: Is Amiras secret relevant to the plotline or the characters in the long term. Is she a Bass...?
HAHAH deff not a Bass… It’s more of a shock then a secret. I think it has more to do with this seasons plotline.

Anonymous asked: I really dont think that Chuck will be a love interest. Maybe she likes Chuck and Blair is jealous of that. But I dont see Chuck/Amira happening at all. Is the shocking thing that she is a man?! LOL ( Dont worry we understand your in a difficult situation unlike other GGfans who had info, your Dad is actually friends with the director etc.)
hahah not a man!! I honestly don’t think that Chuck/Amira happen… but I really don’t know. Something related to Amira shocked me so much that I almost fell out of my seat and died. LOL. But I REALLY can’t say what it is! Sorry!!!

Anonymous asked: I think Amira will help Chuck take Bart down. What you think ? I'm sure she's not a love interest,at least for Chuck, but i don't mind if she makes Blair a bit jealous
that is a good guess. I think that is quite possible

Anonymous asked: You don't think Amira could be a love interest for Chuck do you? They said she wasn't going to be.
I honestly don’t know. Something happens that is shocking with her.

Anonymous asked: Did they say that the episode before the finale would be all flashbacks of major events or just have some?
All I know is that they want it before the finale and that it is a clip show

toofat2behipster asked: Oh my god!!! You're so cute for answering so fast. Thanks a lot =D. And one more question, I'm serious now... Do you know anything about Taylor Monsem being back on GG?! Kisses from Brazil!
I really don’t think that she is back… I think they gave her the pink slip last season! and thankks!!!!

Anonymous asked: You said that Leighton's costume would be too spoilery to share. Did it give away some aspect of her storyline? Did you like what she was wearing? Did it make you happy for what's to come for Blair?
Her outfit was less spoilery then her settings.

Anonymous asked: Ugh! This season sounds like another season of "will they, won't they" for Chuck and Blair. I would have thought they could write them together this season. It's only 10 episodes. Can you say if Lily referenced Chuck and Blair any in the conversation?
Depending on the first episode it might not be a will they, won’t they. I can’t say anything about Lily and Bart’s convo! sorry!!

My understanding is that Amira is Nate’s new love & she will play a role in the CB takedown of Bart. Could the shocking aspect about Amira be that she is Chuck’s sister via his biological mother & that will ultimately reveal C’s true parentage?

I don’t think Nate and her are a thing.. But I don’t know. And she is most definitely not related to Chuck in any biological way! That would make it gross…. And I have no idea about Chuck’s mommy issues!

Was this Amira thing more shocking than Bart’s resurrection for you??

NO. This is shocking but not as shocking as that.

GG SPOILERS: (you’ve been warned)
•Chuck and Blair aren’t going to be seen together in a relationship, but are indeed together
•They’re sneaking around, just like when it was Nate/Blair/Chuck
•Amy did Leighton’s makeup for a “sexy scene”
•Bart cuts Chuck off for almost all of his money. Lily is in on it, but only to help Chuck in the end.
•Dan’s trying to break up Barry and Serena because he believes that he is messing with her, ie using her, and he just wants to “stick out” for her, but she turns him down.
•Nate’s the only one who knows about Chuck and Blair
•Serena and Blair confront at a Gay Couple’s wedding of the Barry guy’s cousin.
•Serena and Blair are on the outs as of the wedding.
•Chuck goes to talk to Bart about The Empire, but gets kicked out, so Blair invited him over to “comfort him”.
•Amira catches Chuck and Blair together and threatens to expose them unless they help her break up Serena and the Barry guy. (Amira’s sister)

I know one more thing, but I’m not allowed to say. (Amy actually cleared that I couldn’t say it.. It’s about Chuck/Bart/Lily.)

Feel free to ask questions, but that’s pretty much all I can say.
wrightst3 Asked:
For the Gossip Girl spoilers, did you mean that Amira is Serena's boyfriend's sister?
My answer:
no, she has something against serena though. idk if there’s a connection to serena’s boyfriend.

Anonymous Asked:thanks for the spoilers! do you know anything else about chuck and blair? like about the secretive thing?

My answer:idk really, they just couldn’t be seen in public as a couple, has something to do with the fact that bart thinks blair’s trying to mess with his company ie helping chuck get bass industries.

Nate specifically has a scene with Dan where he might be having different intentions having to do with something of Dan’s.

Amira is involved with Chuck, Bart, and Lily in DIFFERENT ways.

Something belonging to Blair might lead you to believe that her and Serena have revolved all issues in (6x02)

The Oranges starring Rufus Humphrey and ______.

Lily and Bart discuss something involving Chuck, about Bart’s past.

Serena’s boyfriend’s sister is out to break up her brother and Serena (originally posted as Amira, kind of got confused because I was told it was a female guest star – but apparently they’re different nationalities or something? Idk. But yeah, I think her name is “Sage” which you guys mentioned. It’s NOT Amira.

Blair and Chuck definitely have heartfelt scenes in the hotel room flashbacks and other stuff.

Chuck and Blair AREN’T married, nor have I heard about a ring.

Depending on your opinions on a certain person, you may or may not like Amira.

Amira is NOT a threat to Chuck and Blair, some might think so after finding that her intentions aren’t that pure.. But some people will for sure get “worried” I guess, but you shouldn’t.

There is something big happening for a certain character which takes place in the Van Der Woodsen Suite.

Dan is trying to break up Serena and her boyfriend. Don’t know if it’s because he wants her back but his intentions are to get back at her boyfriend.

The “sexy” makeup scene is in 6x01 (flashbacks)

Chuck getting kicked out is in 6x01

There are no Dan and Blair scenes that I know of. A lot of people are asking and I have no clue

I have a tiny piece of info for 6.04.

- I know what the Princess Anne lookalike is for. Nothing Royal related so we can breathe.
- We have a Chuck/Lily/Blair Scene
- And CB are on a mission.

That's all I know.

Okay first scene on the call sheet is Serena, Blair, Chuck, and either #18 or #19. I think 18. And it takes place at the Fashion Show.

Second scene on the call sheet: Serena, Blair, and #17. Again, takes place at the fashion show.

Third scene on the call sheet: Serena, Blair, and #27. At the fashion show once again.

Fourth scene on the call sheet belongs to Nathaniel and #24. Perhaps another guest star he's banging.

The props list includes: Chuck and Nate's cellphones, ID Tags for Staff and Press, Blair's portfolio, Stage Manager Clipboard, Press Cameras

Nelly Yuki also has a clipboard and POCKET RECORDER, which leads me to believe she's involved with the scandal, perhaps? #thecallsheets

Nate sends a text on his cell...SPECULATE IT GUYS COME ON. #thecallsheets

Although I may take back the Nelly being part of the scandal with her recorder because there are press people w/recorders. #thecallsheets

Nelly Yuki's name is on the call sheet, but a finger is covering her #. She is last in the cast list. Maybe a higher number? #thecallsheets

There is a representative from the Spectator at the fashion show. His/her name starts with an E. I am guessing Erica? #thecallsheet

Sage (the new character) is at the fashion show. I can't tell the number (there's a finger over it) or anything about what he/she(?) does.

Chuck & Iman feat Bart

Chuck: This is one of the most beautiful horses I’ve ever seen.
Iman: Thank you. My family takes great pride in our thoroughbreds.
C: I’ve been a fan of your family sources since I was a child. There is one in particular I remember seeing race. I believe she’s your. Lady Alexander?
I: Lady Alexander was my childhood horse and she was much loved but never raced a day in her life.
C: My father must have loved her as much as you did because he paid a great deal for her.
I: No, he can’t. You are mistaken. Lady Alexander was sold to a family friend and put to pasture. She was purposeless to anyone but me.
C: Which made her priceless.
I: UNCLE BART! It’s so good to see you.
Bart: I see my son is attempting to work his charms on you?
I: Why didn’t you tell me Bart Bass is your father? He’s like family. Our fathers were such good friends.
Bart(?): Speaking of your father. I was so sorry hearing of his recent passing.

Blair & Iman

B: Iman? Hi, I’m Blair, close friend of Chuck’s. I know he left before he got to speak to you but this is important to him so it’s important to me. Is this about the horse? Because I know he never really want it. He was just flirting with me.
B: I don’t think he was flirting.
I: Oh, I already have another buyer so it’s not a problem.
B: That’s great! I know how much these horses mean to you and meant to your father. Unfortunately they didn’t mean that much to Bart. He’s not exactly a big donator to PETA if you know what I’m saying.
I: I’m not sure I do.
B: Bart Bass killed the tiger on safari, eats veal on a regular basis…
I: I don’t know about any of that… but he was a really good friend to my father. He bought Lady Alexander and all the others so they could life the rest their days on the farm in Virginia.
B: Okay, listen, Princess Jasmine, the fact is Uncle Bart is bad. I’m sure every single horse he bought from your family went straight to the glue factory including your beloved Lady Alexander. So look into it! See if you can find the Bart Bass retirement home for aged act(?) ones. But I save you the effort. You won’t! Trust me, Chuck’s the good guy here and he needs your help.

'Gossip Girl' scoop: to return for the final season -- EXCLUSIVE

This fall, viewers will say goodbye to The CW’s pop culture phenom Gossip Girl, but not without a few visitors from the past. We’ve already seen the return of Bart Bass (Robert John Burke) in last season’s final batch of episodes. And there have been paparazzi photos of Yin Chang’s Nelly Yuki arriving on set. Who else will be back for the final installments of the glitzy soap? There are so many in the GG world that have gone MIA. Vanessa Abrams? Jenny Humphrey? Eric van der Woodsen? Carter Baizen? Find out our exclusive reveal after the jump…
So the latest GG alum to sign up to return to the Upper East Side is none other than schemer Poppy Lifton, played by actress Tamara Feldman. Poppy was last seen attempting to con Serena (Blake Lively) and her family out of money through a Ponzi scheme with the help of her equally manipulative boyfriend Gabriel, played by The Social Network‘s Armie Hammer, only to be revealed by Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg). A source tells EW that this time, “Poppy shows up in a surprising context to tangle with a new target.”

Fall TV Preview: Gossip Girl Bosses on the Last Obstacle For 'Chair,' a 'Darker' Dan and More!
http://tvline.com/2012....eferral
Gossip Girl will be silenced for good this December when the CW soap comes to an end after six years of love, lies and debauchery. What does the final 10-episode season hold in store for the UES crew? In the following Q&A, exec producer Stephanie Savage and Sara Goodman drop exclusive intel on the much-anticipated end game — including scoop on “Chair,” “Dair” and the show’s titular rabble rouser.

TVLINE | What’s keeping Chuck and Blair apart at this point?
GOODMAN | After all of this buildup, they now understand what it would mean for them to be together. The main obstacle is [them figuring out what] they need as separate people.
SAVAGE | The stakes are really high for them. They can’t rush into anything or do anything half-baked.

TVLINE | Dan and Blair — are they over?
SAVAGE | They may be over, but all parties may not be on the same page about that.

TVLINE | When we left off, Dan was headed to Italy with Georgina.
SAVAGE | Dan definitely makes good on his plan and sets off with Georgina to Italy. But he comes back from overseas with something to spring on the Upper East Side.

TVLINE | How much of Georgina’s darkness will rub off on him?
GOODMAN | I like the dark, so I’m actually really excited about Dan this season. [Laughs] What might seem dark under Georgina is really just Dan finally claiming [his] power. He’s been dismissed by [the gang] for a long time and he’s realizing his power might lie in a different place. It’ll be a more hell-bent and darker Dan than we have necessarily seen, but I think it’s very in keeping with his character.

TVLINE | How does Serena’s new love interest, played by Barry Watson, compare to her previous suitors?
SAVAGE | He’s a grown-up. He’s from Serena’s world, but he’s found his own way. He’s someone with real life experience. He’s patient and very understanding and has a strong sense of humor.

TVLINE | Is she ready for a mature relationship?
SAVAGE | The theme of adulthood is something that we’re really playing with in this last run. We’ve kind of gone back to Nate’s speech from the pilot when he and Chuck were walking in Central Park wondering, “Are we really going to end up being just like our parents.” A lot of our characters are dealing with issues where they’re fully adults now, and that’s definitely true of Serena.

TVLINE | What about Nate?
SAVAGE | Nate is trying to run The Spectator on his own without any crazy entanglements from financial partners and he’s figuring out that that’s not as easy as it might seem.

TVLINE | Any hope you can offer Lily/Rufus fans?
SAVAGE | Bart Bass is a pretty formidable opponent. That’s all I’ll say. [Laughs]

TVLINE | How big a role will Serena and Blair’s friendship play this season?
SAVAGE | Blair and Serena’s friendship is really a spine for this whole season. They’re relationship is the premise for this show. So we’re really focusing a lot on that this year. And certainly the finale will focus on it as well.
GOODMAN | They are very strong in the last two episodes.

TVLINE | Any familiar faces returning for the finale? Vanessa? Jenny? Eric?
SAVAGE | We definitely, without giving anything away, hope to see some familiar faces in the finale.

TVLINE | Will Gossip Girl be unmasked?

GOODMAN | That’s a secret we will never tell. [Laughs]

Blair and Dorota had a conversation about Blair’s future where Blair looks at a picture of her mother and Dorota comes up behind her and goes: She know you can do it Ms. Blair.
Blair then says something like: I hope your right for the sake of my future here and with Chuck
The same day much more shooting went on. If someone can guess the basis of anything I know I will reveal!
xoxo
saturday sep 9 @ 10:59am

Anonymous asked: does the scene have something to do with eleanor being sick? someone mentioned that and that's why she gave the company to blair

No, but I heard that to. Blair is wearing the ring in the scene. This was a very small scene and like I said, it doesn’t give a lot away. All you can find from this is that Blair is mostly focused on her relationship with Chuck and her career. However, she stretches herself too thin when she decides one week before her first fashion show to redo the whole line. This causes some bad things for B is 6x03
saturday sep 9 @ 11:07am

Anonymous asked: does the whole fashion show thing lead to the cb fight (well, not really a fight but whatever you want to call it) in 6x04?
Blair might have strung her out to the point where a doctor needs to intervene.
saturday sep 9 @ 11:20am

Anonymous asked: What exactly does Dan say to Nate about Chuck and Blair?
He doesn’t want to be in a world where Chuck Bass gets the girl

http://this-time-im-all-in.tumblr.com/

Cosmic_Love: Can we expect an explosive Chuck and Blair reunion in the premiere after spending their summers apart? #GG
In a word: HELL YES. Sorry, was that two? I can tell you that the premiere will pick up with Chuck and Blair in a Monte Carlo Hotel Room. It will definitely be explosive and lots will be revealed. Just making sure you all caught that: Hotel. Room. Chuck. And. Blair. Does this make you tingle in all the right places, Chair fans?

puking_unicorn: Any scoop on the father-son relationship between Bart and Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl? Is Bart still the cold hearted monster?
Chuck will most definitely be at war with his father in the final season, and it will start to affect the women he loves the most: Lily and (sorry to be the bearer of less-than-stellar news, Chair fans) Blair.
